Copenhagen - the little mermaid

                    My Little Mermaid

Stunned by the fury of life's wild sea,
The little mermaid comforts me.
Soon peace returns, things go to plan;
Because my little mermaid's Anne

Oft times I wonder what she sees,
This earth-bound angel, in poor me,
But thank whatever Gods I can....
And bless the day I met my Anne

Though future years I fear to see
And dread  some coming misery
She makes my life much better than
A Prince of Princes - Love you, Anne. x x x

You’re a good man Charlie

You're a good man Charlie Brown, I have a sense your Little Mermaid is happy to be walking with her earth legs next to you. ~A "To love another person is to see the face of God." Les Miserables

what can I say

I see you, A, how well you know me - I'm a disgrace to the dour Scotsmen who inhabit this country. I like your quotation and must try to be less miserable. Thanks for looking Ian

Ian...

Your mermaid and you sound very much like mine and me. I'll never know what she sees either... enjoyed and can relate only too well raising a cup(of coffee, lol) to walking mermaids. Richard

mermaids

Thanks for the kind words, what a big softie I'm becoming. After 40 years of marriage to me I still don't see why she stays --- but I'm sure glad she does! Love Ian

I hope we all get to meet our own mermaids, Jonathan, all we have to do is be on the right boat. Thanks for the comment Ian
