Morning Shall Come

The clouds are all dark

But sparkles with eyes

That behold the sky

Wished there I could fly

To touch the lovely stars

But I don’t even have a car

How then do I fly?

Soon the stars start falling

And darkness covers my people

But my corner I need to brighten

With the last flicker of light

Which I hold through the night

To burn till there is no more.

But in the dark I dream

In my dreams I touch the sky above

Shining the corner that dims

The hopes of my people.

There is light in dreams

Beyond the curtains of darkness

There’s light that come from above

bringing forth at dawn

Giving away yet another day

And when morning comes

All things are new.
