Buck High

BUCK HIGH

I rode you today
through the ethers
we trecked
high and proud

you tasted of sex
as I tried hard to find
all the heat we had lost
when you came
in my mind

and we melted
white thunder
to lace tatted clouds

woven of wonder
and warmest heart light
we fell tumbling
over and down
the velveteen night
like exhausted
but luminous
negligee gowns

love’s pure tell
safe found

adamantine
sparkles of life force
dotted round and around

peace sleeping sound
on the Mother’s
sure ground

Niiiiiiiiiiice.I especially

Niiiiiiiiiiice. I especially like the last stanza. How can one walk into the world angry and afraid? ~A "A poem is never finished, only abandoned." ~ Paul Valery

Third stanza, would it be

Third stanza, would it be lightening being tatted versus thunder? Thunder is a sound, lightening moves cloud to cloud. Tatting is making lace, old fashioned. raskin

Hmmm. Good question,

Hmmm. Good question, Raskin. White lightning, however, has a different connotation which doesn't, imo, work with the flavour of the poem. What you think Mikey? ~A "A poem is never finished, only abandoned." ~ Paul Valery

You are able to paint the

You are able to paint the most vital and unspoken details of sensuality, no secrets in this. Very, very good write.
