here is me nominating a love poem to Spotlight. To me this is perfection in poetry (I may be turning Japanese) encompassing as it does my two major precepts of poetry- Ruthless elimination of the inessential. and Compression of meaning. and (ok, three, nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition) Truth. and (ok, four, don't make me sit in the comfy chair!)
