The murder of a rhyme.

Hey Mr. Jackson,
don't let the miles turn to walls.
Bridges span  across the globe
anchored in your loved ones hearts.

Hey Waterface
don't let the ripples turn to wrinkles.
Droplets of time may distort the view
but the truth in your  heart 's crystal clear.

Hey Wafaja
don't let prose catch you crying,
Never surrender  to the page,
vengeance gained in penciled crime,

the murder of a rhyme.

By Jove!

woooow. Deliberate and well built poetry. Can I ask more about the people mentioned? Mr. Jackson, Waterface, Wajafa, are these people you know personally or media references?

Thank you very much Whitetea

Mitchel Water-Face Jackson ? He was a friend . He was a great poet . He passed young and unsung. These are hard lessons learned. By Jove !
