Reconciliation
Giving strength to deeds
ordinarily won't harm
the giver of said, "strength";
it's that quality
that sets off an alarm,
when we'll go to any length.
Scandalous hearts,
creative minds, too
plus tenacity, for sure;
with a focus, strong
anything, will do
'tis a road hard to endure.
Yet, with her two hands
she can smooth away
the knots, from my shoulders of rope;
ease my worried mind
beside her, as I lay
I can feel her waves of hope.
She can love me, calm
all that has struck me odd,
and all my cares are on the shelf;
for, as I hold her close
and reconcile with god,
it's easier to reconcile with myself.
ordinarily won't harm
the giver of said, "strength";
it's that quality
that sets off an alarm,
when we'll go to any length.
Scandalous hearts,
creative minds, too
plus tenacity, for sure;
with a focus, strong
anything, will do
'tis a road hard to endure.
Yet, with her two hands
she can smooth away
the knots, from my shoulders of rope;
ease my worried mind
beside her, as I lay
I can feel her waves of hope.
She can love me, calm
all that has struck me odd,
and all my cares are on the shelf;
for, as I hold her close
and reconcile with god,
it's easier to reconcile with myself.
