Reality of Life

Life
what does it offer
all I see
Is heart ache and pain
I see the misery suffered
by many
as they go in search of food
poor and hungry
they dig amongst the  waste
of rotten garbage
trying to salvage the scraps
I see  the pain
suffered through illness
from  the poorest  of people
who are unable to afford the medication
that is so desperately needed
their heart ache
comes from the desperation
of struggling to survive
I long to see  the happiness
that puts a smile on faces
but unless poverty is tackled
It will never happen

You clearly support Obamas health plan.

The title sucks. "The Reality of life" implies so much more than what you actually say. Cheers, Jess, “The political arena leaves one no alternative, one must either be a dunce or a rogue.” Emma Goldman
