Sister, mother to be,

I still remember July 24th 1989,
Like it was yesterday, a memory so divine,
A memory I hold to my heart so dear,
A memory that brings a joyous tear,
A memory of which is one of my first,
A memory which wipes all of the worst,
A memory of your big eyes so blue,
A memory of my baby sister new.

Now decades have passed,
Flown by like seconds so fast,
Countless sun's have set and winds blown,
And now you're to have a child of your own.
A happy child your son will be,
Because blessed is he,
With a mother who is the wonderful sister to me.
