drop by drop
it pours away
its almost over
at the end of the day
bit by bit
i'll let it drip
till i find another way
a grain of love
and a pinch of salt

on the asphalt

it fades away

wishing it away

crazy in love
with a dove
that flies away
more everyday
an open wound
its still so fresh
a hollow sound
an empty mesh

H2SO4

is Sulfuric acid Jess. Heavy water is D2O or HDO. My dad uses sulfuric acid occasionally in his work and he spilled one little drop on his shoe (not purposely of course) and it ate through his leather work shoe, his thick socks and then it burned a hole in his foot. He didn't even know he had gotten it on him until he was driving home and his foot started itching. He was very lucky that he thought to remove his sock and shoe or he could have severely damaged his foot. He still has a scar and every time I think of the hole that burned through his skin I shiver. The thought of

salt in an H2SO4 burn is delightfully disturbing. Your ability to rhyme so smoothly is very impressive! I can't find a single spot where I stumble or have to reread a line so I'm concurring with Jess and Jayne. My family crest is animo et fide (courage and faith). It's interesting how so many mottoes focus on faithfulness as a necessary virtue. Kelsey

thanks guys

i haven't been logging on much.. some personal issues i needed to take care of and i just saw all the comments you guys left me. this is the sort of thing that just comes out when you sit down with a paper and pen sometimes.. and don't think too much. jess, kelsey, jane, thanks a bunch. yeah i'm proud of this one. it fit very well into my aura. and jess, sometimes you don't need something as complicated as a nuclear explosion to make a mess out of things.. :) regards, dhruv
