coffee

you are begun again
cupped in the black earths
ancient wild ritual
your invitation to the rise
of restless black  angels,  acidic
 and sobering on your lips
their continuity hot and blended
warriors embattled in the sleepy air
the clashing  reminder
of your dark freedom
and recharged spirit
your loneliness in the cafe
your solemn place at the table
no words can enter you
only mountains and the wild bean
you are the awakened lover
the  kiss that  surrounds the fold of your hands
with out the waste of words
a held spoon
a full cup
the  dark steep roasting  of your hours
a possibility of sweetness
a lover that fills your mouth
with her raw bite

So you enjoyed your wake up

So you enjoyed your wake up call this morning? Coffee, vanilla flavoured with a bit of milk... and me, perhaps? Kiss. ~A "If parents really would love their children there would no longer be any war." J. Krishnamurti

And you, and you, and you

And you, and you, and you till nights a wet sleepy finger in the deep hollow of your morning. Awaken me. B

Obsidian man

Ann of Norway You dark horse, your coffee (coughing) coffee peom, slowly colours the page with its black black words, and penetrates the taste buds of our sleepy minds, waking us to its intoxication. Love from Anuska
