MAGNITUDE

wanders morning risen smiling
reach out and touch the glasses
slip the wallet
smooth the dress
zip zips and clasp clasps

pray
honour
breath in
listening with ears
eyes
senses
the heat of sun
this birth instrument
to life

take a jacket if rains
should cry upon the mists
of fine crown

palatial drives down
shanty towns
talismen tokens swinging from
sculpted rear view mirrors
like Spitfire warrior
gleaming perspex

our music throbs
we shuttle shunt and scream
our hoarse voice rider
rubber

past flaming gas plant vents
and the window mirror eyes
of facories half vacant

dreaming of that focused
closeness
our selves we want
nurtured
attended
held

we are magnitude magnetrons
drawn

I drink night visions and choke on the crisp fire of hearts heat

return and never let go hanging out over the railing feeling the throb the pulse in my skin so much of it soaking through the veins like an odour only those unafraid of fear can inhale like bitter cusps and moon print scars from flights kisses the tragic wasteland of nightmare flourish
