clouds
the clouds learn how to forsake themselves
hiding into shapeless hills with out rain
they impress the needless street below
with shadows of separation that hurry past
another way to say good-by with out tears
the sky knows how alone the earth feels
and traces little patterns into my steps
that bump into me going the other way
it was on the wrong side of your sighs
that you brought me back to my self
I learned how to walk with rain
falling silver to meet the light
to return the music of your touch
as you find the flowers of the world
there are always flowers somewhere
where you are in the world
I am always with rain clouds
