Interesting experimentation

It's neat that you were, as you say, having fun with the theme- so often we forget that's part of the reason we write poetry, for Enjoyment.

I like the theme that you used throughout. I enjoy writing the haiku and tanka, probably tanka more. I like what you did here. Fun. raskin

Oh don't bother about the blooming stars

Ann of Norway This is a sort of challenge couldn't we all here, do some variations on the theme and produce the best one out of many, it should perhaps have been put elsewhere like General poetry, and used as an exercise for us all, I haven't put something that needs judging, just a series of thoughts on which YOU can embellish, change, or make you own complete new 'poem' Okay? Love from me and thank you for the comments quand même! Ann Ana Nya and all!!

Wonderful Annushka, as I read I found idylls of absolute perfect beauty, that transported me to places I feel completely at peace in or love deeply, your themes were all divine, though I admit I would rather have seen the explanation at the bottom or in a blog, it scrambled me a little, I got the gist as I read & loved your concept of exploring these styles. You are a great pioneer my friend. Cheers Anni~ "Three passions have governed my life: The longings for love, the search for knowledge, And unbearable pity for the suffering of [humankind]." Just read your above comment - love you even more dear one! This must be my favourite, though so many leapt inside my heart. # My private shower # birch tree in the winds of Spring # seeds of thought for dreams_______ # & these I loved... # black wet logs, the wood # now logged with pools of silver # natures’s mirrors smoothe # # _______________ # # In spring the trees # see their own reflections now # do they ever think # Pencilled stripes from clouds # nature’s theatre gently falls # with rain. Each of these on their own would pull a myriad of stars to you my dearest poet, how I adore you being! xxx Cheers Anni~ "Three passions have governed my life: The longings for love, the search for knowledge, And unbearable pity for the suffering of [humankind]."
