Permanent Ink

In this hour of despair

Why have you forsaken me?

How does one mute silence

I seek a cure to agony

What magical man

Holds the key

To eternal harmony

He must exist

For we are actors

On his stage

Playing roles

 Damned souls

 Cursed to

 Suffering

From his royal throne

He watches, emotionless

As he writes our destiny

In permanent ink

Yes the key is “eternal

Yes the key is "eternal harmony" We are trapped on a stage acting out a play alienated from it's creator. This stage is old and decaying, the actors playing roles "cursed to suffering." Is it destined to stay this way? I think there is a magical man - one who can and has worked miracles - who is waiting in the wings to bring back harmony - may that day come soon. A heart felt poem, borne of pain.

God

Hi , I like the feel of the poem, i get that ultimately god or fate may have the last word, but the poem feels like it needs a bit more of a personal point of view.
