anchors
I once had two anchors unique
that held me to this world.
Bound by cords of love and pain
and ties of eternal strength,
that never slacked,
that never broke,
no matter what the length.
One day one anchor “weighed away”.
It didn’t say goodbye.
My ship it rocked and rolled in fear
the mooring urgently missed.
Where was it now? Where was my son?
And - did he still exist?
But my anchor did not let me loose.
He tugged gently at my grief.
He called to me in a small soft voice
until I realised the lie.
He reached for me from the other side
and taught we do not die.
Now I’m tethered to two worlds.
Anchors moored both ways.
With knowledge when we leave there’s no
such thing as separation, just
Development to
Existence in
Another
Different dimension
