Teresa

Hers, is the sound of intensity
where passion rules the day,

and everyone yearns to live like that.
We are defined, not so much by our actions,

as we are by our intent,
and though...focus fades, like smoke in the wind;

it is intent, that defines our very being,
and colors our true existences.

She's a casual sort of...teacher of life;
yet simultaneously, a student of it's will.

Which is more than I can say for many
who, for some reason, cannot discern a lesson from a lark;

and so, will continue to fail...not, for a lack of knowledge,
but for a lack of knowledge retention !

But hers, is a memory of true registry complete,
her voice is reason, her eyes are honest, and her heart is bold;

because she knows that, where there is truth, there is peace,
where there's honesty, there's hope, and where there's integrity...light;

and that light is exactly what she lives for,
for life's beauty can be seen best, when there's a proper light source.

Oh, there'll be plenty of shadows to bring contrast,
and darkness, to remind us of the night;

but what's imperative is the light
for it's necessary for us to find our way;

and that's what Teresa is a proponent of,
while she constantly sketches from her mind, to fill her heart.

Hers, is a way of understanding circumstances
and not being disillusioned by the shadows in her life;

because, in her heart is her own private light source,
one that shines despite the shadows, and the dark.

She knows full well, that she needs those silly shadows, in her life
or her sketches would appear to be merely two-dimentional, in content.

Hers, is a nature of true happiness
for every piece of happiness in her life, belongs to her.

She visualized it, focused on it, and then cultivated it
until it blossomed, and became a part of who she is;

and I'm reminded of how grateful that I am
for Teresa's circumstances to have led her to mine.

Fortunately for us, we share all circumstances now,
for we both have purchased them with our actions, and our intent;

and were it not for that light, to lead us on,
we may have never been allowed to own this day.

Thank-you, Raskin my friend....

...I balked at even putting this on, this site. I thought, perhaps...too personal; but, I talked myself into it. Thanks for the generous response...you always appear very candid, and I appreciate, that. "Later on"! "Write on"! sincerely, #{:-{)}8==== docmaverick.
