Misery's Gifts

 Wanting to cry

 But the tears don’t fall

 Yearning to be saved

 No such luck, my friend

 Thinking I was alone

  Wouldn’t you?

  Hyperventilating

  In paper bags

 Swimming in a pool

 Of sweat

Ah, the serenity

  Of that pill

  Breathing in clarity

  Exhaling misery’s gifts

    Time not passing

    Racing thoughts

     Having no regard

     For my personal sanity

   Welcome to the world

    Best forgotten

     One that

  Internally exists

The world best forgotten,

The world best forgotten, but we all have that. Don't we? But I can see the flow and liked very much your words. Do you really think there was no regard for sanity I wonder? And you of all people must know your NEVER alone. Julie D.D.
