1973 - 1996

Jolted when you went away

Every day I

Remember when you were in my world.

Even when we fought

My love was strong and unconditional.

Youth lost, lost youth.

 

Someday we will meet again.

Carefree we will be, for

Only Time separated us.

Time passes, and

Time alone dies.

 

Comfort gained from thoughts

Of

Reconstructed memories.

Comfort gained from knowledge

Of future

Reunion,

And the understanding that we

Never will say goodbye again.

Favorite Poets: Favourite poets? So many, so varied. I like particular songs, not necessarily the singer... and the same goes for poetry. I can honestly say though, that Alfred Noyes' The Highwayman was what inspired my love of poetry - my mother began reading it to me when I was still a baby, and it became my favourite bedtime story

Caught this one right away

what a beautiful poem of your loving son Judy. I caught it and read it and the boldness and the sweetness all melted into his lovely name. My heart actually stops when I read this as I can not imagine the loss of a son, as my world would fall apart if that was my case also. I see that in your writing and your relections of him and your reaching to him that this is the love of a mother like no other. I love you Judy from one mom to another. Mona you are beautiful, and such heartfelt comments can only come from someone who really cares about others. I really appreciate your sincerity. And yes, the world fell apart, ripped apart. But you won't believe what happened next. He came back!!! Not in the flesh, of course, but I felt him with me and talking to me so stongly on so many occasions, he sent me so many messages, that I couldn't not believe that it was really him. I KNOW we continue. My book, due to be published soon describes it all. I hope you'd like to read it. Love and hugs, Judy

Yes Yes I do

I hear you as I also hear my cousin and she has sent me many a message her spirit and her photograph is the poem I just did for her. I feel it also from my grandmother who I took care of for three years, another mom to me and oh how I miss that wise ole Italian lady with all my heart. I so wish she was here today along with cousin Cathy. Yes I would love to read your book I can't wait as I treasure your words and cry a tear with you. Your a lovely poet too by the way.
