poetry

i plaited infinity
with cardinal feathers
i unearthed time
and civilization,
my hands spoke
of this

~~~~~~
inside the wave
the eye opens
a pearl forms
infinity
~~~~~~

shyly she wore the night
and in her belly
the moon danced

she birthed stars.

~~~~~~
weeping willow
sheds her image,
the river flows
~~~~~~

when the mouth opened,
who spoke?
the sky makes no promises
and the earth holds no secrets

~~~~~~
O sweet the knock, the entering of that sweet song of peace!
~~~~~~

soaring
the newborn heart
wings away

lovely.

this touches wonderfully on many themes that have been a-buzzing in me rustin' noggin. i just wrote a prose type thing this morning which mentions the pearl. i even broke it down into numbered stanzas (well...sort of) as in some of your other writes. strange, huh? go figure. (or is it...you go, figure!) hehe...

Oh wonderful wonderful you, what a reply,

Ann of Norway Oh wonderful wonderful you, what a reply, I hope your prediction comes true!!!!!!! specially I was once romantically in love with the "Song of the Cardinal" book and always felt like the little greyish female hiding in the bushes, she is found by a red handsome male and they live happily ...... So I have felt this story as if it were my own, except that the male cardinal didn't give me a second glance back then. Its all chance. How I would love to see a free live blue jay, let alone one with a seed in its mouth! Dearest Anna sister.

I like your avatar. It reminds me of a poem I like much. Its by Mr. Browning. Entitled; My Star Do you know it? I posted the prose thing. Not really prose, or even really prosaic. Just some thoughts inspired. Thanks! (but i left out the numbers)

This one?

This one? http://www.readbookonline.net/readOnLine/15336/ Star ~ Robert Browning All, that I know Of a certain star Is, it can throw (Like the angled spar) Now a dart of red, Now a dart of blue Till my friends have said They would fain see, too, My star that dartles the red and the blue! Then it stops like a bird; like a flower, hangs furled: They must solace themselves with the Saturn above it. What matter to me if their star is a world? Mine has opened its soul to me; therefore I love it.
