Made me smile I have to say

We need some more humorous verse on the site. The second line didn't work so well for me, probably because of the repeated "I'm giving". In keeping with the tone a line such as "and all hanky-panky for Lent" sprang to mind lol. Anyway I enjoyed your limerick. Best wishes Keith

Well spotted young man, I

Well spotted young man, I jotted this down when stuck in traffic last night, when I got home I typed it out and then re wrote it, I must have been tired as I posted the dodgy version both here and on a couple of other sites. As you are the only one to spot my (deliberate) mistake I award you a gold star. I hope that this version stands up to scrutiny. Thanks for stopping by and pointing out my mistake. Cheers John
