Worms

Mummy says I shouldn’t eat juicy wiggly worms

She said that they are mucky and they’re full of nasty germs

I never take no notice though, and when she isn’t looking

I’ll eat some scrummy worms because, they’re better than her cooking

Hi Anna, I’d been to visit

Hi Anna, I'd been to visit my dad, he's 88 and quite poorly, we were talking about when I was a kid and, you guessed it, I used to eat worms, well I was only two at the time, but I still remember the taste, they are sort of like biltong with an earthy after taste. Anyway being stuck in traffic on the M25 (the largest car park in england actually it's a motorway that surrounds London) With all that time on my hands I wrote this and a couple of others, I eventually got home at 10 after a three and a half hour drive, hopefully going back tomorrow will be a bit quicker. Sorry for rambling, I liked the ceilledh band (is that spelt right?)reminds me of my local on a friday night when I was younger. I've read all the scary poems on the site, there's some good stuff on it and it's given me a couple of ideas too. John
