cheaper by the dozen: the art of puffery

revisionary revolutionary
reverberation
resounding rhetoric
reactions
rotating
ruffled

feathers

dance the hokey pokey
and turn yourself
inside out

say, what ya giving
up for Lent?

beyond the face is a heart
and a little bit of chocolate
goes a long way.

pretenses have a life of their own.

Hey but wait what happen to the puffy rice cakes?? lol Behind the face lies a heart full of gold, a cup of coffee to warm your soul and of tons of chocolate. Oh and don't forget the hokey pokey sure is a good dance to tap too! good day Magics02 "Determination Brings Success"

Oh to have a nice chunky

Oh to have a nice chunky piece of chocolate..Mmmm. Can't...too much sugar gives me spots. I used to be told it was just being a teenager and that spots were normal, however, the first time I cut down on sugar, my spots disappeared. Even now, at 53 on Sat, if I eat chocolate etc; the spots rear their ugly heads. Lovely poem though if I ignore the chocy bit. Rosina xena465

“beyond the face is a

"beyond the face is a heart" "pretenses have a life of their own" Beautiful - I feel like the first lines highlight the inco-ordinate, chaotic of being out of kilter with your 'heart'?? livingin pretense, then things slowly gain structure leading into the insight at the end - Am I stating the obvious?? Apologies if I am but I love the way the poem is structured - and this is why. Best wishes, Neon
