The Unseen

In the night I walk
The forbidden halls
The one that leads me
To your room

As you lay asleep
Curled in your bed
I watch from the doorway
You haven't a clue
You're in my translucent thoughts
My daily dreams

The way you breathe
It turns me on
Makes me wish
We were one
If I could touch your skin
Just once
I don't know what I would do

Alas it can never be
As you can not see me
I watch from afar
Pining away
As the years of your life
Tick away

I know I will never be
More than what I am
My time has come and gone
And now I am left
To face the dawn
Once again on my own
The Unseen

u were close

on the meaning. It is actually a ghost, living in the house before the owner who has fallen in love with the owner. He wishes for a closer relationship with her but knows it will never be. She doesnt even know he is there. So it is his little story of how he pines for her but to the owner, he is unseen. Thank you for your praise!!!
