MORIRSE DE HAMBRE (Dying of Hunger)

Emotionally emaciatedwe stand alone, shadows of ourselves, exculpated, excruciatedbanished to the zombie zone. We are annorexics to lovefearful of being filled,we remain unnurtured, regurgitated morsels we bemoanwe need more control -we'd rather starve than it bemade known

rather gaunt and gallant ,

than satiated and left alone... BjR  14 February, '10

Dear Boni,

very apropos imagery here. "We are annorexics to love/fearful of being filled," I find this to be so very true. Yours, ~Nina P.S. unnutured - unnurtured ?

Hey Kal!

Glad that you don't stint yourself! THere's a very real connection between self-abnegation and harm as components of Anorexia and eating disorders! (Speak to me after May when I go to a conference at Yale on the very subject!) either that or watch this space for more compositions... (hopefully:) Thanks for your continued support as ever! Boni

A musical quality quite special.

Ann of Norway A wonderful sound with the sentiments within the sounds, the Z'one' sound as well as the famous 'ed' sounds giving it a musical quality quite special. Like Nina I have some feelings about some of the words, as this is not an absurd poem but one with clear message, I feel that the grammar of this piece is not quiet right, (I am no specialist in the explanation of such!!!), for instance excruciatED, excupatED, do they work in that manner? Love Ann.
