Dawning Day Trip

Crisp
Damp

A cool Silent suspense
  holding a mystery of anticipation

Eloquence renewed
  dancing an age old welcome

Calling with a tender kiss of promise

Each dawn a daily encore
overflowing from a wellspring of color

Prayer's painted with-in every moment

Savage souls written in ancient patterns

Feeling
 learning
  each awakening shade

Birthing a regal purple patch
threaded by Lavender and lilac ribbon's

Ripening like a sweet succulent Plum
cleansing the pitch of night with Apollo's light

An ever evolving Blood Mandarin prose
punctuated delicately with Apricot and Marigold

The Celestial waves of Aqua heralding
Cerulean and Azure Blessings over the horizon

Every morning suggesting a golden purpose

Each Dawning offering inspiration
illuminating a fresh and new Day trip

Oh LOOK just look just look at THAT sunrise,

Ann of Norway Oh LOOK just look just look at THAT sunrise, its so dazzling, so full of colours, so brilliantly shining in the whole sky of neopoets blue, its scintillating colours are penetrating each facet of the diamonds of our agate eyes and making us laugh at the beauty of this painting, laughing a laugh of joy. Beautiful dawn today Dawning Daytripper Julie, here the sky is dull, but you have streaked it with lines of poetry in such colours that it glows. And before I wrote this I didn't even see that you had that title so blind here and there sometimes, so you got out of me the very thing you are expressing, wow wonderful you. Love from Ann on Valentine's day

Hello

All the colours stick out. I'm actually imaging a Beatles song playing in the background or a child finger painting. I picture a kind affectionate photo to a mother stuck to the fridge. Something that a parent will cherish forever, Just those little things that mean a lot. It kind of made my day as I am pretty under the weather and some malicious editor sent me a note saying my work was horrible, completely unprovoked. They are terrible tgey want to kill you before you start. I thought the generic rejection letters were bad but this was cruel. They may not have liked the content of poems but it was uncalled for. Thy are such surface level meaning people you really have to spoonfeed most of them. What I am saying is keep writing and give them hell. JT

I love the Beatles. I know

I love the Beatles. I know all of there early songs. All of them. A big fan. And I was thinking of fingerpaints when I wrote it, funny things we catch sometimes. JT. My initials are JT to. And editors are not your friend, they have a job to do. And sometimes that job has the appearance of making your life a misearable hell. But with out the process who knows what they might publish. I recommend getting to know some of our authors and asking them for advice. I plan on a stack of rejection letters for a long time before I will accomplish the task. And I haven't even started. I just got my spelling and desire in line, lol! Anyways thanks for reading JT and I am glad you liked it!! Julie D.D.
