And So
The wind has closed my ears to you
the cold has sealed my lips,
the sun has marred my vision
and so, I must digress.
Blood flows down my jaw-line
my mouth frozenly stoic,
tears run free from out my eyes
and so, I disagree.
For spring has entered winter's chamber
and a song springs from my voice,
my ears listen, and my eyes absorb
and so, finally I'm content.
Now deafness does evade me
and my throat has opened up,
I see now, that you've tortured me
and so, now you're a pedestrian.
the cold has sealed my lips,
the sun has marred my vision
and so, I must digress.
Blood flows down my jaw-line
my mouth frozenly stoic,
tears run free from out my eyes
and so, I disagree.
For spring has entered winter's chamber
and a song springs from my voice,
my ears listen, and my eyes absorb
and so, finally I'm content.
Now deafness does evade me
and my throat has opened up,
I see now, that you've tortured me
and so, now you're a pedestrian.
