Lime and Coco Nuts

Twist the lime with the coco nuts
and stir it all up
Twist the lime in the coco nuts
and call me in the morning
Twist the lime and the coco nuts
with loads of snow falling to ground

Pina colada’s by the pool side
summer will be here, slide on down
Twist the lime in the coco nuts
and stir it all up
for when you get better
it’s time to shovel it up

Let’s put it all together
snow slushes and all
summer’s a coming
throw away the snow ball

 Coconuts are growing
the milk so sweet
come on over
for lime in the coco nuts
Now  that’s a real treat..

LOL

Thanks Theo and yes I sing all over the place, at work, in the car, in the store (not that loud) anywhere when I am in the singing mood. And of course I like the tapping too. Thanks for visiting and I just started singing that old song and thought hmmm and here I created a little poem of it. Kind of silly with snow and all but they do sell lime slurpees and coconut smoothies here too. Today it is cold out, can not wait till spring and summer to once again thaw out. How have you been and the long lost star maybe I will catch it this weekend. magics02 moment smile

Had to laugh at Theos comment lol I am a singer and I sing whenever the impulse hits me and my kids are forever embarrassed hahahaha ;) nothing like clearing the lungs with a tune ... whistle while you work ;) lol love and hugs Jayne-Chloe

Yes Jayne

And then to get the microphone going..it's alot of fun over here when we all get together and sing the old songs the best. I love the 70's 80' and some of the 50 and 60's tunes. Send us some heat to thaw us out over here especially up north where Lovely is really freezing. Time to dance the tap and drink the Pina Colada's. I need to find that lost star that Theo is talking about and just how can you shed some light on that one for me? Thanks for the visit again friend. Stay well my dear Love, magics xxoxoxoxoxo

Mona you put me in a holiday mood

Ann of Norway We would start off for Wales from the Midlands in the car at 5 am. and sing all the way usually rounds, canons, some of them even medieval ones I imagine, never looked to find out, passed on from family to family, our anyway. We didn't need a car radio then. when one is off to a holiday its the time we all start singing for joy isn't it? I don't know this song Mona so I can't follow the rhythm so I wont say much here. The drink sounds exciting like something out of Fools and Horses Theo, Del boy and his over elaborate drinks with umbrella's and things sticking out of it or was that another drink? I'm thrown into a holiday mood the sun shining so bright on the white snow and it feeling like Easter, the Norwegian Easter where in the mountains one can go skiing with bare arms in the hot sun and the fresh breeze of snow as you slide along on your skis, all the norsk blonds go up there to brown themselves ready for the flirting of Summer!!!!! Or just to compete with those in the town who haven't been able to go to their huts and sunbathe. Song is a family feeling a happy togetherness, an expression of joy and love, sadness and melacholy together. Love to you Mona and to our dear Jayne who is heard singing through her poetry too, even if we can't quite hear her voice. Coco cobana!! I can hear that in my head!!

Mmm! Mmm!

Post me the coconuts, never mind...just pore me a few of those Pina Coladas and I'll sing any song you want. Just lovely. My taste buds are tingling with coconut desire. Rosina xena465

fun, mona,

but do you think you might have given Harry Nilsson a credit? Cheers, Jess, reprehensibly irrepressible
