Anxiety

I awake to the ocean at my side
Standing, I clean the sand from my shirt
Looking out into the sea, it is as flat as anything I have ever seen

Before me stands a sight, The Sun has crashed into the sea
It is slowly sinking.

White horses dance in the distance
The wind is silent and I hear children sing
It is snowing ashes of the world i used to live in

Behind me stands the world, it has become a ruin
It is slowly dying.

Help me to carry the water
We can dance on the coals of the sun.

Anxiety...

I know a lot about that feeling. I really like this. It's a perfect example of being `down in the dumps` when all seems pointless. Nicely written. Rosina xena465
