Your Smile

Your Sardonic grin
Betrayed my plot to hide
It haunted my nights
Rearing its perfect teeth

Should I have been more kind
To take your hating smile
Changing it to a reality
It seemed so good at the time

I was sorry for the screams
They soon changed to peace
Not heard here for a while
But did you have to smile

I felt the pain in you
It reflected years of noise
Drowning my protesting murmer
Then this quiet so intense

I could hear my breathing
Sorrowfully not yours
Who will they blame
Will they torment me

I will go leaving you here
Maybe they will find you
Before that smile is gone
I wonder is it a happy one

Just let me live in the moment

This sounds interesting...

I'm wondering? Is she dead? Did you do it? Or is it just a fantasy of what you'd like to do to someone unkind? I like it. You describe torture quietened by the lack of breath. Rosina xena465

This beautiful, it must be

This beautiful, it must be said. Whilst I don't cocmpletely understand all of the language - I'm working on it - just the flow I find very capturing. Evie

You must get both a very good dictonary and a Roget's Thesaurus, this firstly will give you as you know the meaning of all the words and then the other book will give you lots of alternative words that mean the same or simular, use the charity shops to find books you can use. I find that younger people and some old ones like me become lazy and use the net to find meanings its not the same. If one of the words you had problem with was Sardonic it is the facial expression that happens usually when someone has been poisened with Cyanide, still this is why this place is for learning and teaching Have a lovely journey with us here, Yours Ian.T

This one was of someone not being good to their partner and the sardonic smile is usually an indication of poison by Cyanide maybe I should have mentioned the smell of the almonds that caught ones breath LOL The evening may come There you will see me That may be in another time A place that therein The Angels will reside A place that you feel Unconditional love of all There is a smile to be A feeling to last for always Yours Ian.T
