On the rocks

 Bloody-Mary's with whisky mouths,
toast all-co-hollers, with glass-jaws drooling.
Tanked battalions, drafted on orders,
wined up bitter on the rocks.

Bar-sugars with brown-cow eyes,
watch beer bellied bouncers, with blood-shot fingers,
sling-a-pore-singer, with boozed-breathed ballads.
Phonics and tonics, on the rocks

Stewed-tomatoes flash rose smiles,
at pickled lagers with bottle-necks tipping,
under paid waitress; with little brown jugs,
serves the last call, on the rocks.

Screwed drivers with heads hung over,
tequila-sunrises on icy roads shining,
Newfies screeching with nerves bar-tender,
one more for the rocks on the road

A tipple or two?

Wow! What a party. Wish I'd been invited...Brilliant. I feel like I was there. Now I'm a little typsy with thurst...think I'll have a cider or two now. Rosina xena465
