Still collecting data

Still collecting data

I feel like one of Pollock's

splattered paintings, over-painted

here and there to make up a composite

whole, laughingly so

Or a dusty pyramid standing in

the same place for thousands of

years, brutalized by sand storms

and heat from the sun

A telephone ringing in an empty

house

that will

never be answered

An ancient dream,

dreamer has

not yet awakened

from

Crisscrossing railroad

tracks

deciding which

way to go

Silver lining

of a grey cloud

hovering, dissipating

over green prairie

The unfinished

experiment

still collecting

data.

Another Victor Claude poem

Another Victor Claude poem of immensity, splattered with a simplicity that can not be denied. Where colour lives, poets die. ~A
