Go Away Cupid!

Get away you bratty baby,
Get your arrows away from me.
You will not catch me in your trap,
Just you wait and see!
Fall in love? Ha!
I would rather eat some dirt,
If you don't just fly away,
I'll spank you and it will hurt!
I'll take you by your little wings,
And throw you over head,
Get lost! you little pesky thing,
Didn't you hear what I have said?
I will not feel your arrow, pierce me in my butt,
If you think you will get me,
Then you are nothing but a nut.
Ouch! You awful baby,
You have tricked me once again,
Look at you, you think you are smart,
With that stupid grin.
Well you may have won for now,
I have gone googly eyed for some jerk,
But you are a terrible match maker,
You know it will never work.
Go ahead and laugh,
You nasty little brat,
For I will not stay in love,
I will be free and that is that!

That cheeky little Cupid..

This is a lovely funny cool little piece Greeneyes.. I loved to read it and I guess it somes up all of our mistakes in love.. God what a dictionary that would make...(made a few myself lol) Not sure if you have seen "Night at the Museum 2" but there is a scene in it with three cheeky little Cupids singing the boys to men song "I swear" loved that scene and your poem reminded me of that... Well done and loved the italics...suited it well Best regards Stu :-)
