OCEAN OF NOTHINGNESS
OCEAN OF NOTHINGNESS Imagine you own the whole worldLacking not in strength and witWith surpluses all around youBut having nothing out of itYou feel dreadful, deep down In a country, like the one we live inSo blessed and richly endowedWith men and innate resourcesBut finds it hard to make things workWe feel frustrated and want to run away Imagine the enormous work doneBy all religious houses everywhereWith men who claimed to have been savedBut with nothing in their attitudes to showYou consider the commerce in the industry When life is lived to its ultimate endWhether you acquired more than you needWhile others live and die in abject povertyYou have nothing, if your heart knew not GodFor you will experience emptiness beyond words
