How can I write ? ( Rondau )
How can I write- these words I can not say ?
Allegiance to my voice my mouth's belayed.
Tied, anchored to my teeth, refused to budge,
if forced my tongue would surly hold a grudge.
While sharpened fangs on guard, hold it at bay.
With heart in hand I try to pen our play.
Yet fate has chosen this day not to sway.
My ink runs dry, my mouth feels filled with fudge.
How can I write?
Pray give me words to pen for if I may,
have chance for love, and ink to flow this day.
Across the page to her, so she may judge.
My dear our love just needs this gentile nudge.
Mere words may not suffice, so Lord I pray !
