Aspirations of death

The absence of hope.
Within which lies power,
Freedom from the chains,
Which doggedly enslave,
Coaxing an existance,
In dibilitating reigns,

As puppets on the strings,
Of a satirical God,
Mocking our lives,
With the wages of sin,
Hope springs eternal,
Again and again,

Cursing us with,
This will to survive,
Existing because I must,
For my family,
For my friends,

So I wait,
I exist,
As the mite on a lens,
Life-my parasite,
Hope-my sin,

I know not the meaning,
Of this life contrived,
Patiently I wait,
For my sweet demise.

I always find that hope is a negative thing as it means that all you are doing is just being there waiting for something or someone to do what you should do and that is get up and sort out the problems that have brought you to this low, Well written and a good point, Yours Ian.T
