found resting in words
I have run my fingers
through black inked petals,
that trail to heaven
and sat at the feet
of mountains
listening to my poets
heart, beat
As I traveled each turn
of the page,
off to my left peripheral
steadily an image has
emerged
as I grow ever more
restful,
the goddess strobes incandescent
and my hands,
bleed lightning
