lost scent

lost scent

to discover beauty of a rose

by dissecting one --

ends in a nothing but

a pile of rose petals --

even its scent is lost.

Anna,

This little lyric is meant to be a caveat to those who wish to tear into others' poetic works, thinking they have a better idea how another author's work should read. Thank you, Victor
