Soundtrack
I went to sleep without a care
and awoke without a doubt,
the music smiled around my knees
you know what I'm talking about;
to share and sing a song that's true
and not to miss a note,
has taken me to hell and back
with feelings so remote.
I've learned to live with circumstance
and to sing aloud on key,
expecting nothing from fates hand
as I rehearse it endlessly.
My song has given me good cause
to practice through the night,
for nothings more fulfilling
than to get a song, "Just Right".
Every innuendo
and nuance to my song,
has taught me there are harmonies
that just do not belong.
For in the grand scheme of things
the soundtrack of my life,
sings songs from every aspect
from frivolity to strife;
and I add, in my songs splendor
how I know the tune is "true",
each score includes a choir
so there's a special part, for you.
and awoke without a doubt,
the music smiled around my knees
you know what I'm talking about;
to share and sing a song that's true
and not to miss a note,
has taken me to hell and back
with feelings so remote.
I've learned to live with circumstance
and to sing aloud on key,
expecting nothing from fates hand
as I rehearse it endlessly.
My song has given me good cause
to practice through the night,
for nothings more fulfilling
than to get a song, "Just Right".
Every innuendo
and nuance to my song,
has taught me there are harmonies
that just do not belong.
For in the grand scheme of things
the soundtrack of my life,
sings songs from every aspect
from frivolity to strife;
and I add, in my songs splendor
how I know the tune is "true",
each score includes a choir
so there's a special part, for you.
