Picture of beauty

I look upon sweet wooden frame
Rosewood in splendor and crystal clear
Handcrafted by its loving master
Resting on years of natures perfection

We cannot speak of the picture within
For none can describe her transcending radiance
Silken locks of heavens whisper hides her gaze
Naive not of life but of her raw innocent beauty

She watches his moves and guards his heart
Would strike down and vanquish she might
But not her one for whom she holds dear
He waited till eternity and never left her thoughts

Never has she known such a feeling
Of which she used to speak so well
Confusion of thought till clarity's dawn
Not since the brightest star did shine

Dear frame now release your tender prize
Kind heart take my hand and walk with me now
For into each others arms we embrace
Sweet nectar of touch on our waiting lips

“she watches his moves and

"she watches his moves and guards his heart" "he waited till eternity and never left her thoughts". So many beautiful, superb lines here. I've used Rosewood as a metaphor for a door to a house of prayer. This poem reads like a prayer, Stuart. Well done! ~A "What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world remains and is immortal." Albert Pine

Thank you Rosina for taking

Thank you Rosina for taking the time to read this little piece. I was really tired when I was finishing it so I'm quite glad it sounds to me now how it did late last night. Best regards Stu :-)
