What Babies Dream (A Children's Story)

Have you ever wondered what babies dream about? They are so little and so new to the world, what can they possibly yearn for? That is what dreams are made of, aren't they?  Our dreams are our deepest desires played out in our imagination. Well this is the story of one little baby, and the great adventure he embarks on, one peaceful night,

" It is time to go to sleep, my little one," Noah's mother said in a gentle voice. She carried the little baby up to his room, smothering his tiny face with kisses. Mother sat in the oak rocker Father had made from hand the moment he found out  about the impending blessing, and rocked and  her little boy till he fell to sleep. "Dream well ", my love she whispered, and laid him into the crib.

Noah smiled in his sleep, as he flew high above the clouds with tiny wings.  Rainbow, after rainbow, dazzled the sky.Noah slid down the beautiful colors landing on clouds of softest white. Just then, a little head popped out of the clouds and nudged Noah in his side. It was a Pegasus! He was Sapphire blue, and just big enough for Noah to climb on his back and fly higher in the sky than his wings could carry him.

Noah and his new friend soared up to the moon,  and had tea with the little man who lives there. He was a cheery old soul and was very excited for the visitors. He danced around  making a fuss. He showed Noah how to ride shooting stars, and let him help milk the cow who lives on the Milky Way. Orion watched over him as he played with the Bear, and challenged Hercules to a weight lifting contest.  He was chased by Scorpio,  hunted with the Great  Centaur and tamed the Bull.  Noah was having a wonderful time, but he knew he had to return home, where his mother was waiting. Till then, he would sleep on a cloud, with his winged friend. He would go home when he heared his mother's voice in the morning.

                                Sweet Dreams.

Thank you both. Yeah, I know

Thank you both. Yeah, I know it needs to be cleaned up a bit, I did fix the spelling errors though. I tend to be in a hurry when I get an idea and I just typed it in without writing it out first. Thanks Again, Elizabeth
