to capture Blue

to capture Blue

we resonate
tall order cooks
we sizzle in the sun....

there's a lonely little poem in me
just waiting to break open

shells of indifference left behind
crying for Mother
who turns her back to make us face
the depth of our perception,
the needle of her eye,

red lobsters scream at the sight
of boiling water,
we drift in and out of awareness
kings and queens of denial
looking for a little comfort
in the castles of our dissolution
here and there,
bareback horsemen
taking up a cause, we pledge allegiance
to the night and
wallow in our dreams,

break the barrier of sound on a rocket to the
stars,
the speed of light in clenched and selfish hands,
we arch our backs in wanton flesh
seething anger between laser-white teeth
captured in a wayward breeze of destiny
and madness comes knocking on the door,

fools are fools, we walk around the hole
and the ground swells inside, another day breaks
comes to light the candles in our hair.

the poet melts, and we drool like infants in the palest
shade of blue

Yup, there’s always THAT

Yup, there's always THAT desolation. The one I felt when I was lost in space, traveling from planet to planet and that I re-experienced on my trip to North Dakota. Thanks for understanding and reading my mind bones. Love, Mum "What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world remains and is immortal." Albert Pine

dream of capturing blue, that heavenly sky

Your mind bones, oh what a vision of bones with their carved letters or marks, reminds me of the prehistoric bones at the museum in Les Eysies, Dordogne, France, where they have sometimes marks which we do no know how to read. You are not alluding to Santa Lucia with the candles in her hair, and yet are you? Her life given in devotion to her mother. How we dream of capturing blue that heavenly sky, the heavenly people who live and hav e lived on this earth, and yet they are gone and the vast expanse of blue weighs on us, a lid we strive to lift to see beyond, trying in every way possible to reach it and the closer we come to it the further away it becomes. Lovely melting end quite a new way of looking at it Anna. Love from me to my dear sister. I so much love your avatar

I so much love your avatar dear, and felt inspired to write a little poem. Who knows I just might expand it. no one's church There is a little church nestled in the valley it is snowing and no one is inside praying the sky has turned to gold with the living word. ~A
