Love

Love, what’d you come here for?

To watch an old man die in his regret

To dance in the wind tonight

Love, why were you in her shape?

To let me dream all night

To let me fall apart in my own sleep

Love, what are you good for?

To make one smile at the sea

To have one wait for eternity

I am not in living color; I am the soul of a man

I was the song you sang, the emotions you felt

I am the air you breathe; true beauty mirrors me

I am not the sun; I am not the moon

I am the light; the warmth in your bed tonight

Love, what was your desire?

To set my heart on fire

To dance in the rhythm of my steps

I remember I once was happy

Can these things I feel ever go away

Love, what’d you come here for?

Just let me be…

This line got me.

Love, why were you in her shape? To let me dream all night To let me fall apart in my own sleep The days when going to sleep is all you look forward too but all you dream is of them. (nightmares more or less) Sometimes, you wonder if you will ever get a break.

exactly

its like it follows you everywhere... even in the refuge of sleep -with what love could be- WT
