THE DANCE OF THE UNIVERSE

THE DANCE OF THE UNIVERSE

The sun
Voluminous
Bleedis ruby red
Burning streams amber and gold
Threatening Earth’s Horizon
Gently
Slowly
Descends
Into Ocean’s Deep
To quench its thirst
And sleep
Only to rise again
In a different place
In a different world
Night’s dreaming
Has told

I wonder
Do the stars
Tell us who we are.
What music don’t we hear
That whispers our mystery.
And shows us the way
To our Humanity.

The dance of the universe
Movement and  change
Always different yet the same
Breathing
Living
Entity
A metaphor for us to see

We have lost our mythology
And
Dreams of Transcendence
The thinking Man’s fears
Cowering to Reason
The Innocents kneeling to Heaven

And they say
Miserere  Domine

[Lord, have Mercy]
