tango tantra in 4-D

I can tell who you are
by the "Besotted Poets"
shirt you are wearing,
you waltz into my mind
and demand metaphors
while my hair is burning
every strand strangling me
with the want of you

syncopations are not easy
when distances are shed,
my hand pulls your zipper
and your's cups my breast

my fish net stockings are full
of holes, this is how you'll
recognize me

this is how we drop all false
pretenses, naked with Poetry.

If that doesn’t make

If that doesn't make someone want to write poetry I'm not sure what will. Your motions are quick yet so satisfying. Bravo Anna! Bravo! -Nathaniel

Get down to sound and make poetry to astound!

Anna, Get down on the dancefloor and dance the quickstep nudist waltz and let the words of adoration pour from your soul! The light tip-toe to full on tap-dancing of the words sets the pace and ryhthm of this on fire to burn away all boundaries and clothes to lay bare your soul in salsa sway and shimmy! Life is like a dance all you gotta do is learn the steps, and here you give a valuable pen tango with your mind. Love the gusto and verve in this! Dale :)

Tsk tsk tsk. Anna. She’s

Tsk tsk tsk. Anna. She's always correcting others with the 's or s' or s sans apostrophe. However, let me 'splain the *get*... I used it in the vernacular of the 60's: *get naked*.. so what do you think of it now in context? Thanks. ~A p.s. Please do not crucify me with *very nice*...someone please fuck me dead... murder me. Dear Anna,

"Very nice," is a traditional Canadianism in the understated British tradition. Occasionally, it means the same as, "please fuck me dead," but I used it in the more literary branch of its meaning. I think I got the 60's thing before I made my comment. It is still a little ackward, and more importantly, inconsistant with the tenor of the earlier lines which use words like "breast" rather than "tit" and include this one: "syncopations". Ah, I remember that special 60's year when syncopations was merely a precurser to "get naked." Brian

Thanks for the laugh out loud. Sorely needed, Brian. I'll refer to this.. (besides, no one else commented and it's a glorious poem of Odd Molly's. ..http://www.neopoet.com/node/33807#comment-147333 I shall remove the offending *get*. Thank you Brian and happy day-after-your birthday. ~A "What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world remains and is immortal." Albert Pine
