Mine

You inspired me
when I hoped to inspire you
You rebuilt me using my own parts
You put the hope back in my heart

I desired your mind
Craved your words
Drank your presence
and I'm still not full

I need more
I want more
Damnit!
I'm taking it all

I'm no longer afraid of the dark
I want to take this chance
For you,
I'm ready to fall

*I’m taking it all*

*I'm taking it all* Should be the motto of every poet. Well done! ~A "What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world remains and is immortal." Albert Pine
