tossing and turning
a restless mind
tension and burning
I cant unwind
bottle of pills
to sway away ills

sleepless and boring
time ticks by
rather be snoreing 
mental overdrive
emotions, pain and bills
problems amied to kill

dawn cracks light
eyes get heavy
dreams in sight
sleep fills levee
sound alarm BEEP
obligations to greet

tonight  might sleep
a day living lost
gears grind aching feet
tonights dream holocaust
worry less worry not
worries hope not to be caught

worries hopes distressed distraught
a planet dies I lay to rot
a terrorists plot...
