Some times I wonder
Some times I wonder
Sometimes I wonder why the brain
Can’t rest
For if it did
We all would be put to rest
The moment the brain does so.
When we say we sleep
The brain is awake
It keeps vigil
Upon our souls
It helps us to help humanity
To reach its goals
What are our goals?
I do not know
Do you? If so please
Do let me also know
So that my mind is put to rest
As I am in up take too slow
But my brain doesn’t say so.
