Different class (my clumsy words)
I wonder why you do it
I guess you want the fame
And that is where we differ
As I don't feel the same
I am so humbled by
Other peoples flattery
I don't care I'm not 'a face'
It matters not to me
It takes nerves, it takes guts
To say the gentle things I do
It's hard you'll find, to be so kind
The way I tried towards you
I guess you'll win a Grammy
You'll win a Golden Globe
Where as I can't win an argument
Or anything else, you know
I will never be seen
At any award ceremony
No champagne, no bright lights
And no sparkling jewellery
It took courage just for me
To put pen to paper to you
And write such words, so tenderly
It's not something I'd normally do
