Yes!

where has all the civility gone,
did the sun leave the horizon?
did the earth move away?
water
drips
a picture is not enough for
those who thirst
and a menu
doesn't feed
the hungry
what
sense
does it make
to make war on the impoverished?
to
run
away
with the time that it takes
to
fill a thimble with the Seven Seas?

I don't know if two people
f

n

in love is enough
to balance the scales
of injustice
and right the wrongs
left behind
the
8
ball,
scratch the surface
and the dent

walk the dog
and talk your walk

bring back sanity to a world
too broken
dazed
crazed
unfazed

angry planet
besieged
beleaguered
betwixt

the devil
and the home team

mean
theme
scheme
scene

where words collide
four horsemen
ride
hide

behind fluffy clouds

pink and blue
sky
shock and awe

amazed
enthralled
blown away

rapture!

love

middle of a war with our thimble of water,

"where has all the civility gone, did the sun leave the horizon? did the earth move away? water drips" Your sandwich is of so many textures, we eat nalis and bolts, soft centered hearts, fiery seasonings and over sweet promises and should have indigestion for the rest of our lives. You throw us out into space and in a flash put us back just here intimately close to the now, in this place, then into the middle of a war with our thimble of water, impoverished human minds, we have lost or never really gained a universal understanding of what makes life on this planet happy and worth the living, each in our petty everyday grumbles ignoring the big picture, and yet when we do feel we can do somthing with our minds we don't, we vegetate and forget the world and its suffering. As I said to Longobardolino today:- At least there are( sh!!!) no earthquakes here, that is worse, the poor souls trapped underneath, dying in crushed state beneath a pile of concrete, one would wish that the whole world had some kind of ready help in those places where it is BOUND to happen and that cooperation was the aim for all peoples, whatever nit-wit runs the country or not. Not well written this but you know what i mean. How helpless we are we little soft bodied humans in earthquakes.  Not written well as I say so I send it now must go Love to you dear sweet kind Anna sister mine, Ann.

Dear Kailashana:

Love has always the fairness and the richness to say yes, and especially to tell the truth in a positive way. Love is not uncouth, much less uncivilized in its opinions about the suffering of others. Your poem is a great one, and it puts a check mark on the word Yes! Thank you. Sincerely, Hugo

HAVE YOU EVER

Have you ever thought? Why a game of chess Had ever to be invented? No not to torment Wizards’ minds, But to keep Politicians tormented, As otherwise they wouldn't know, What to do, When they’ve gone And none for them has ever Lamented
