A treat for the girls

A farmers work aint easyIt’s an 'ard and lonely lifeI never gets to town muchSo its 'ard to find a wifeI’m up at dawn most every mornA milking and a feedingThen afternoons I’m in the fieldsA 'oeing and a weedingSo, when the sun goes down at nightThe working day be doneI’ll go down to the sheep penJust to pick a pretty oneThey sees me in my welliesAnd they all begin to bleatThey know that I am there to giveSome special girl a treat
